UMIP and UMIC

UMIC is The University of Manchester Incubator Company Ltd. and is wholly owned by the University in the same way as its sister company UMIP.

UMIC manages all of the commercial business incubation office and laboratory space on behalf of the University. This space is used both by some of UMIP's spin-out companies and third party technology companies.

UMIC is based in the Manchester Bioscience Incubator on Grafton Street.
