How is UMIP organised?

• UMIP is a company that is wholly owned by the University
• It is organised to give the best possible impact to the commercialisation process
• This operational process comprises of two teams, covering different faculties
       - Engineering, Physical Sciences and Humanites (The EPS & Humanities Team)
       - Medical, Human and Life Science Faculties (The Biomedica Team)
• The operational teams are supported by a central corporate group
• UMIP reports to the University Board of Governers through the UMIP Board.
• UMIP also has a number of working committees including an Investment Committee that governs investment and shareholding strategy
