UMIP operates an email based technology knowledge network called
The Knowledge Vine linking technology professionals world-wide in a simple new way. It provides a very easy and powerful way of searching for technology or research expertise, allowing you to email a request to over 200 Universities and research institutions on over 30 countries. Requests can be targeted at organisations from specific geographical regions.

The network is free to use, and just requires a simple registration process.
