The technology stemming from the research work at The University of Manchester is broad, deep, and world-class.

UMIP acts as a bridge between industry and the Manchester academic community, managing and translating the technology from the laboratory to commercial application.

Many of the people at UMIP have an industry background. Coupled with a total of over 100 years project management experience in technology related areas, this means we not only talk your language but are able to manage technology projects whether at an early stage in academia, or well into commercial implementation.
